Note Barbera d’Asti from her vines of around 40 years old, planted over the region’s characteristically steep slopes and soft, sandy soils. This spent two months on skins, followed by two years in vat. The third bottling from this vintage, it is as pure an expression of the grape as you’ll find, with brambly fruits, a little tannin and a refreshing acidity that keeps us coming back for more.
